was born in 16 November 1846, at Allahabad.His name is Akbar Hussain Rizvi, But he known as Akbar Allahabadi
He saw the first war of independence in 1857, the First World War and even the initial part of Gandhi's peaceful movement. He died in 1921 in Allahabad, the city of his birth.

He was session judge of Allahabad High Court.He belonged to a Sunni Muslim family.

Nag Vasuki

 

प्रयाग Prayag के समान तीनों लोकों में कोई तीर्थ नही है । न गंगा के समान कोई नदी है । श्री  वेणीमाधव के समान कोई देव नही हैं। तीर्थराज प्रयाग में सात प्रमुख तीर्थ देवों में पांचवां स्थान वासुकी Nag Vasuki का है। इस तीर्थ - देव के सम्बन्ध में प्रायः सभी पुराणों में वर्णन आया है। पद्मपुराण में श्री तीर्थराज का महात्मय  सौ अध्यायों में वर्णन करते हुए स्वयं शेष भगवान ने अपने निवास स्थान के विषय में कहा है। -

  भारद्वाज आश्रम से उत्तर वासुकी Nag Vasuki हृद प्रयाग Prayag के अंतर्वेदी क्षेत्र सीमा पर स्थित है। पूर्व में प्रतिष्ठान अर्थात स्मुद्रकूप कम्वलाश्वतार नाग तथा दक्षिण में बहूमूलक क्षेत्र है। पद्मपुराण,पातालखण्ड के 85वें अध्याय में शेष भगवान ने इस स्थान की उत्पत्ति के विषय में बतलाया की इसी स्थान में तपस्वी दिवोदास ने साठ हजार वर्ष तक मेरी प्रसन्नता हेतु तप किया था। उसी समय मै, इस स्थान में दिवोदास की स्तुति से प्रसन्न हो स्वयं प्रकट हुआ था। दिवोदास द्वारा मेरी स्तुति किये जाने से इस स्थान के महात्म्य का वर्णन करते हुये मैंने उसे काशी का अचल राज्य दिया। वासुकी महात्म्य वर्णन करते हुये शेष भगवान ने कहा -

  यह मेरा और दिवोदास का प्रिय स्थान है इस क्षेत्र Nag Vasuki का विस्तार तीस बाँस (१२० हाथ) है इसमें अनेक नाग वास करते हैं। जो मेरे कुण्ड में स्नान करके मुझे (वासुकी) की पूजा करते हैं, वे अपनी सभी अभीष्ट कामनाओं को प्राप्त करते हैं और मरने पर स्वर्ग को जाते हैं।

Prayag

The original native name of this city is Prayaga, representing the sacred union of the rivers Ganges, Yamuna and Saraswati. The name is still used by only Hindus to refer to the city.
The area became a part of the Mauryan and Gupta empires of the east and the Kushan empire of the west before becoming part of the Kannauj empire.
Prayag became a part of the Mughal Empire after the Mughal invasion of India in 1526. The Mughal emperor Akbar built a magnificent fort in Prayag. The city was the scene of Maratha incursions before colonial rule was imposed over India.

In 1765, the British established a garrison at Fort Prayag. In 1857, Prayag was active in the Indian Mutiny.
