SHIATS is
a 100 year old University. Which Was founded in 1910. The university
was declared a Deemed University in 2000,under Section 3 of UGC Act
dated March 15th, 2000. .As an homage to founder Dr. Sam Higginbottom,
Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India, New Delhi to
Re-naming Allahabad Agricultural Institute as “Sam Higginbottom Institute of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences”.
